The Bible tells us in the book of Romans – verse 22 – “We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.”
Why would we place our faith in Jesus Christ? When would we do this?
The Good News, is that Jesus Christ, God’s own son came to earth as a man and paid the ransom for all, each and every one of us, that we might be made right with God.
When we understand and accept this, when we acknowledge God as creator and sustainer of all things, our faith moves from accepting all things as a result of chance, to having faith in a God who designed all things with a purpose.
God is gracious and kind. It’s not our efforts which make us right with Him, it’s our faith in His.
“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” – Hebrews 11.6
